This tea supplier was new to the market when they came to Thrive Marketing for help with growing their customer list and increasing eCommerce sales. Our first goal was to create a vibrant presence on Amazon.com, their primary sales outlet at the time. After researching their competitors, we selected colors and created designs for their packaging that helped them stand out visually, even in an online thumbnail image.
Next we executed ad campaigns, where we tested and tweaked the ads to bring the cost of acquiring a new email address down from $4 to less than $1. Even more importantly, we were able to get the right prospects to sign up, as more than 50% of them became customers. Later, a large percentage of purchasers became repeat customers, effectively reducing the cost of acquisition to zero – highly unusual for this industry. In the end, we helped them grow their customer database by 3000% and revenues by $250,000 in just three months. Along the way, we won two AMA Spectrum Awards for our work with the company in the Infographics and Integrated Campaign categories.
